Detailed Description

The ALERT200X is built around an AL200X ALERT and ALERT2 Modem and Sensor Interface and the industry-standard Maxon VHF radio. It includes integrated GPS from the AL200X for accurate, real-time clock synchronization.

Note: A GPS antenna is required for ALERT2 applications and is highly recommended for ALERT.

The ALERT200X is available in three different package options to meet your needs:

  • The canister option includes six standard, M12, eight-pin, circular connectors for sensor I/O, as well as coaxial connectors for GPS and VHF radio. You can easily connect existing sensors at your field station using the available M12, field-wirable connector kits.
  • The enclosure option is built around the same platform as the canister option, but it is housed in a fiberglass enclosure with cable glands and internal DIN rail terminals for connecting external sensors.
  • The panel option is designed for applications where an enclosure will be provided separately. It carries the same design as the enclosure panel with DIN rail terminals for easy sensor connections.

All three options are configured, deployed, and maintained via the intuitive AL200X user interface using Campbell Scientific's Device Configuration Utility (DevConfig).
